rise against has never played in DGCFAD, either they play half a step down or in just dropped D, DGC is for heavy metal like children of bodom and other bands. and also it doesn't match at all, its not accurate, the intro to survive is made as a prelude to it but put in the song the good left undone. i have the cd and thats how it is.

you are both right, there are editions of the cd where this part is played at the end of the good left undone and there are others where it is played at the beginning of survive

its probably drop D, i haven't listened to it yet, but i'm gonna right now to see.
