Right, first off... the guitar tab's not bad, but a few points to pick up on. 1) The tuning is wrong. Try C#, G#, Eb, F#, Bb, Eb (half-step down, drop C#) 2) The first chord in the chorus is C# (hence the tuning). 3) The slide notes are 9/16, not 7/16. But in the new tuning that I suggested, it would actually be 10/17. 4) If you use an acoustic in standard tuning to play the acoustic bit, the chords are E, B, F# (full chords, not power chords) - if playing live, and only had two guitarists, this would obviously be tricky. A twin-necked guitar, maybe? The transition between electric and acoustic is too imediate to be able to swap guitars. And for RHCP rock - Drop D is when the fat E string is tuned down to a low D. If you've got a guitar tuner, it'll pick up when the string's in D. If not, then when the string's in D, if you play it on the 7th fret, it should sound the same as the open A string. Bending's easy. After picking the note, just bend the string upwards. Depending on how much the bend changes the tone, of course, you'll need top check with what it says on the tabs you read for that. But a whole bend is a where you push the string up about 2 strings' height on the fretboard. A half is one strings' height, etc. Apart from that, not bad. :)

Oh, and because of my new tuning, use your heads and make sure everything's a note up from what's on the tab... to save confusion, I might re-tab it for you all.

i taught myself guitar so i havnt got a teacher to ask so can sum1 tell me how to tune to drop d? nd if ur feelin generous how 2 play bend ;) awesome tab btw... LP rock!!
