I don't see opus 43 on the score anywhere, or in any reference to the opera I turn up that doesn't refer back here. What's more, opus 43 also belongs to the Vigil. It's not unknown for an opus number to be assigned to two different works, there is no apparent evidence that op.43 belongs to this work.
