This setting wasoriginally composed for Selina Midkiff and the Appalachian Children’s Chorus in Charleston, WestVirginia. The original consisted of only the two soprano parts from Choir 1 and Choir 2. I decided tocompose alto, tenor, and bass parts for the first two sections, creating a double choir effect for the finalsection. Although it is scored for double choir one will find the individual parts easily accessible for anychurch, school, or community choir.
