This piece is dedicated to my dear friend and extraordinary to my dear friend and clarinet virtuoso Davide Bandieri. It starts from a short motive cell which evolves and develops progressively within the fantasy. The contraposition of sections of an extraordinary virtuosity and long expressive lines establish the principle of contrast which is the structural-formal and musical axis of the piece. Its title, "Tentative wings", keeps a close relationship with the almost descriptive expressive-musical drama of the piece. It is almost a reference to the flight of birds, the flight of imagination. It is to reach the meeting of a technical-expressive language with no limits.
